On behalf of the AMC Movie News team, happy New Year everyone! It's nice to be back and we're going to kick it off with some additional production details for the upcoming "Superman Vs. Batman".

Following the huge news of Gal Gadot being cast as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, production is set to gear up shortly in Detroit, Michigan. According to Michelle Grinnell, public relations manager for the Michigan Film Office, this is the largest production since Sam Raimi's "Oz the Great and Powerful". The production budget is said to be coming in at $131 million and they will be utilizing all seven sound studios in the city. This number is a bit surprising as the cost of "Man of Steel" came in at $225 million.

Shooting films in Detroit is not an uncommon thing these days and it's amazing for their suffering economy. The production of the "Man of Steel" sequel is expected to create 6,000 jobs and bring in $5 million in revenue.

So many additional details remain unknown for the time being but one thing is for certain; all eyes and ears are on this larger-than-life superhero production.

Incredibles was the best all rounder movie in animation history, humour for young & old, gadget & geek factor for young & old, family values, awsome backdrops of epic scale scenery.  Not to mention the... Spy factor! Secret islands! Apocalyptic doomsday robots! A freakin villain which goes by the name of "Syndrome" (totally awsome name for a villain by the way) Oh and did i mention all this in a SUPERHERO MOVIE!!!  I wish they make a sequel one day soon. Until then i guess i have marvel & DC to keep me entertained, but i suspect that any live action superhero movie may never live up to style and class of Incredibles.  PIXAR are truly genius. Thank you FROM, Nayan, U.K.
