Everything Is Awesome for THE LEGO MOVIE Opening Big

Everything is awesome, when you're part of a team. Especially the team of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, whose "The Lego Movie" opened huge this past weekend. The film racked up almost $70 million at the worldwide box office, making it the second highest Feburary opening in cinema history, behind Mel Gibson's "The Passion of Christ".

Lord and Miller are on quite the incredible film stride right now. They knocked an animated film out of the park before with "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". They surprised audiences with their different and hilarious take on the adapted TV series, "21 Jump Street", which starred Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in their film version. The comedy was met with such fantastic results, both critically and monetarily, that they were also brought back for the sequel "22 Jump Street".

Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell and Morgan Freeman are just some of the vocal talents that helped make "The Lego Movie" so memorable. They were able to boast extremely witty dialogue, with some underlining adult themes, in a colorful and charming way that was also suitable for children. The story was packed with a lot of heart and good messages and it certainly deserves all the praise it's receiving. I would be surprised at this point if Warner Bros. doesn't move forward with a sequel.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
