We'll soon see the lovely Scarlett Johansson team up with Chris Evans for "Captain America: The Winter Solider". Reprising her role as Black Widow, who made her first appearance in "Iron Man 2", she will also be appearing in Joss Whedon's sequel to "The Avengers". Word has just hit that the actress is five months pregnant however, so how will this effect her role in the film?
Black Widow is obviously pretty active and physical being a super spy, which is hard to complete with a little person growing in your belly. Will they add more CGI action sequences and have her moving around a lot less? According to an insider, "They’re going to fast-track her scenes."
Resident Marvel genius Kevin Fiege also recently revealed that they are interested in doing a Black Widow solo film. Since ScarJo is already halfway through the pregnancy, this should hardly be an issue. But it may however effect her interest in doing another physical performance so soon after pregnancy.
The Marvel and Disney clan have certainly proven they know what to do with these incredible properties and characters. I'm sure they will work with the situation at hand in a seamless way and the film won't suffer. Congratulations to Johansson and her baby daddy!
