Actor Bob Hoskins Passes Away At 71

By Amirose Eisenbach April 30, 2014

Despite most of us not knowing actors on a personal level, through their work, it's almost like we do. We are deeply saddened to learn that Bob Hoskins, the Oscar-nominated, charismatic British actor, has passed away at the young age of 71.

Hoskins made us smile on the big-screen throughout the course of his bountiful career, as seen in such iconic roles as "Hook", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Mermaids". He retired from acting in 2012 after his last role in Rupert Sanders "Snow White and the Huntsman".

Sadly, Hoskins had a history of health issues, being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and then finally leaving this earth after an awful encounter with pneumonia. He was a gifted actor and from everything I've heard, a kind and generous human being. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
