First Trailer Released for David Fincher's GONE GIRL

The first trailer has been released for David Fincher's highly anticipated "Gone Girl", starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. Based on Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel of the same name, the book is an exhilarating ride that keeps you guessing until then end. Who could take us on a highly stylized journey better than Fincher?

No stranger to twisted adaptations, Fincher has immortalized "Fight Club" into a cult classic. He also brought us "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" remake and the highly acclaimed "The Social Network".

Flynn is adapting her book into the screenplay with Fincher, which is always a good move to win the trust of fans of her book. Often books are adapted to the bring-screen and lose some of the magic that reading the book created. While the production has confirmed that they may be changing parts to translate better into a film, Flynn's involvement definitely makes me rest at ease.

Pike is a great choice to play the complicated main female character of Amy. After his amazing directorial efforts, including such films as "Argo" and "The Town", Affleck is definitely a highly-coveted talent. Our new Batman also seems like a solid choice to play the main male character of Nick. Just don't get too attached to anyone, I warn you. The book played with your emotions and the film will undoubtedly do the same.
