The four main members of Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" reboot were announced a couple of weeks ago. Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan have become the new squad, originally played by such actors as Jessica Alba and Chris Evans. Now the main antagonist of the production has also been narrowed down to just one name and Toby Kebbell is in talks to play Doctor Doom.
The shortlist of other actors being discussed just last week for the role included Sam Riley, Domnhall Gleeson and Eddie Redmayne. They all had a similar look about them but Kebbell is definitely a bit different aesthetically. He is still British, however.
Kebbell is best known for his unique and lively role in Guy Ritchie's "RocknRolla", as well as the more recent "Wrath of the Titans". He seems to have that menacing, intelligent and quirky essence down, yet he's not a big-name star just yet, so I actually think it's a pretty inspired choice.
