A brand new trailer has been released for the highly anticipated "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes". The original rebooted installment was directed by Rupert Wyatt and pleasantly surprised audiences with its thought-provoking themes and relatable conflicts.

The sequel takes place ten years after the events of the original. James Franco starred in the first film and we were told that he will quickly appear in this one as well, but most likely by way of flashbacks. Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and of course, Andy Serkis back as Caesar, round out the ensemble for the new installment.

Synopsis: A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.
