Following the exciting cast reveal for J.J Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII", a new photo from set has been leaked and principle photography is said to begin tomorrow. From on location in Abu Dhabi, a teaser photo reveals a massive structure the crew has built for the larger-than-life upcoming project. Could it be to the nostalgic Star Wars planet of Tatooine perhaps?
According to The National, "Our sources report that the sets are getting closer to completion, with a 'whole world' having been built on an otherworldly salt lake at one location."
One of the many elements that makes "Star Wars" so wonderful is the incredibly vast galaxy and other worlds that are portrayed. I'm very pleased to know they are going to great lengths to build some incredible structures, to depict the many facets that compose the richness of this universe.
We of course don't have many answers at this point about really anything to date. We do know that franchise originals Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew are back, so Han, Leia, Luke and Chewy will all return in some capacity. They will be joined by franchise newbies including Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domnhall Gleeson and many more.
