New Trailer and Poster for Eli Roth's GREEN INFERNO

By Amirose Eisenbach June 2, 2014

A new trailer and poster have been released for Eli Roth's "The Green Inferno". It was a very solid trailer that builds excitement for what looks to be a beautifully shot film with a terrifying premise.

Roth is obviously no stranger to horror, having previously brought us such films as "Hostel" and "Cabin Fever". He's produced a ton of horror films these days but he's stepping back behind the lens for this one in addition to producing and co-writing it. The story follows a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon to save the rainforest. However, once they arrive in this vast green landscape, they soon discover that they are not alone and that no good deed goes unpunished.

The story appears to be a unique and captivating one for Roth to tackle. I love the concept of these people wanting to make a difference and help preserve the Rainforest, only to have their plane crash and get abducted by a tribe that certainly doesn't have good intentions. Well done, Roth. I'm certainly intrigued from the new trailer and creepy poster.
