Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg Reunite for DADDY'S HOME

By Amirose Eisenbach June 5, 2014

If you loved Will Ferrell and and Mark Wahlberg's comedic chemistry in "The Other Guys", then you're in luck. The two are re-teaming for a new film called "Daddy's Home".

The story follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad ever to his wife's two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling, freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing stepdad to compete for the affection of the kids.

Vince Vaughn was originally being eyed to star opposite Ferrell before Wahlberg nabbed the role. Vaughn is fantastic but seeing Wahlberg in a role like this feels like a very good and fun idea.

Etan Cohen was originally attached to direct but has since left the production. Now Sean Anders and John Morris are in talks to helm, working form a script written by Brian Burns, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Cohen.

Are you looking forward to seeing the two work together again? Let us know in the comments section below!
