The first teaser trailer has been released for Peter Jackson's highly anticipated "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies". The film will mark the epic conclusion to his "Hobbit" trilogy, the prequel to his other Middle-Earth trilogy, "The Lord of the Rings".

The bar was raised with the second film in the series, "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug", where Benedict Cumberbatch brought the amazing dragon to life through motion-capture and by utilizing his fantastic voice. The next installment promises to be even bigger and better, following Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf and the company on their next journey. As indicated by the title, which used to be "There and Back Again", a crazy battle is brewing.

Many were skeptical that splitting a fairly small book into three films would become diluted. But that has been hardly the case and many prefer this trilogy to the other Middle-Earth adventure series.

The trailer is beautifully shot, building tension throughout. I for one cannot wait to see what's in store for my favorite hobbits, elves and other mystical creatures.
