Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appears to be in almost everything these days. Anchoring huge franchises like "Fast and Furious", "G.I. Joe" and soon the "Hercules" reboot out later this month, he is certainly an actor in high demand. Now comes word of his next potential high-octane project.

Universal is reportedly courting him to star in the new Robert Ludlum adaptation "The Janson Directive". The story follows a covert ops agent who gets sick of hired-gun killing and starts a private security firm. He partners with a sharpshooter and the two aim to help out those in need. There are typically a lot of twists and turns in Ludlum's novels, so something is bound to go horribly wrong.

This could be a potential new franchise in the vein of "Bourne" or "Jack Reacher". The Rock certainly has the charisma and physicality and with roles as seen in "Snitch", he's proving he is acquiring the acting chops as well.

I can see him retiring Wolverine after W3 but as stated - HJ is still RIPPED. He does some serious workouts to play Logan and has the body to prove it. If they cast someone younger to play him after W3 then they had better search long and hard because he is one tough act to follow as Logan!

okay, i took the bait of the Teaser for the new Bond movie, and I am hooked. Bond seems to have a secret link to Spectre, This will be interesting. I love the way the new recycling of Bond stories have developed from the first Craig adaptation and reinventing of the role. Guess I am onboard to continue to be a person that has never missed a Bond movie. From when I first saw Dr. No and From Russia With Love on a double feature in the 60's as a teenager I have been hooked and still am.
