The second trailer for the prequel to James Wan's "The Conjuring" has been released. The film titled "Annabelle", centers around the doll of the same name that is believed to be possessed by a demon. True to form for the series, the demon doll haunts an innocent family that must get to the bottom of the story before it's too late.
Horror expert Wan is only producing this one and John R. Leonetti is at the helm for it. While Leonetti's directorial credits are not very vast, he has served as a cinematographer on Wan's other projects "The Conjuring" and "Insidious: Chapter 2", so perhaps he learned from the master and will be able to scare his audience the way Wan has so successfully done.
Synopsis: John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia—a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia’s delight with Annabelle doesn’t last long. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now...Annabelle.
