JURASSIC WORLD Officially Wraps Production

By Amirose Eisenbach August 7, 2014

We were made aware that Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" has officially wrapped production, as announced by a photo the director released on his twitter. The photo was of a film clapboard placed brilliantly in between the teeth of a T-Rex with the word "Wrap" accompanying it.

After several years of development delays and problems, hearing this film has been completed is a joy for all fans of this franchise. And who isn't a fan of this franchise? The magic of seeing dinos on the big-screen, matched by its magnetic score, is certainly generational.

Coming off the heat of "Guardians of the Galaxy", it will be amazing seeing Chris Pratt lead another franchise. His wonderful comedic timing as well as his ability to go dramatic when necessary, is exactly what this franchise needs to be introduced to the new generation. In addition to Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson and Judy Greer round out the ensemble.

Nabbing a fantastic indie director such a Trevorrow was a refreshing move to re-launch a huge franchise like this. Hopefully it's as good as expectations, but the odds are definitely in his favor.
