It's been rather quiet on the "Star Wars: Episode VII" front recently, as the production took a bit of a hiatus after Harrison Ford's injury. We were finally awarded with a new photo, courtesy of Luke Skywalker himself, made famous of course by Mark Hamill in the original saga.
Hamill is featured in front of Pinewood Studios, with a rather badass sign of "VII: Now Filming" above him. This photo is hopefully signifying that production is back underway and stronger than ever. He looks like he's been pumping some iron as he has majorly slimmed down from the Hamill we've seen for the last decade. His beard and new look are reminiscent of Sir Alec Guiness' Obi-Wan Kenobi.
In the photo, which was snapped by his son, Nathan Hamill, he is pictured with Lava Bear, one of Nathan's creations. Random and rather amusing.
While this photo doesn't reveal a whole lot, it does give us a nice glimpse at the kind of Skywalker we can expect in this next saga. He looks tough and wise, certainly a Skywalker I would like to reunite with.
