Here’s one not for the faint-hearted… John Travolta and Kate Bosworth are headlining an indie drama called “Life On The Line”, about a crew of ‘linemen’ - workers who have the dangerous job of fixing electrical grids.
“Life On The Line” is being directed by David Hackl, a Canadian director and production designer whose credits include “Saw V”. Marro Films and Elite Film Productions are producing, with a budget set at about $10-$12m.
Marro Films CEO Marvin Peart said, “The last film made in and around the lineman industry was in 1937… It’s an honor and a career highlight to tell this modern-day story about these unsung heroes.”
We have't seen John Travolta on-screen since last year's "Killing Season" with Robert DeNiro, but the actor has been busy shooting "Criminal Activities", the directorial debut of actor Jackie Earle Haley and "In A Valley Of Violence", directed by Ti West ("The Sacrement")
