Patrick Wilson and Matthew Fox have joined the cast of the indie “Bone Tomahawk”. They’ll be co-starring alongside the already attached Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins in the violent Western, which will be the directorial debut of novelist/screenwriter S. Craig Zahler.
Wilson and Fox will play cowboys who try to rescue a group of people held captive by primitive, dangerous cannibals. They replace Peter Sarsgaard and Timothy Olyphant, who have dropped out of the film.
In addition to directing, Zahler also wrote the script, and has another project in the works, with his crime novel “Mean Business On North Ganson Street” being developed into a film, with Leonardo DiCaprio set to star and produce.
Patrick Wilson was previously attached to Marvel’s “Ant-Man”, but left during the film’s multiple delays.
