A new trailer has been released for J.C. Chandor’s mob thriller “A Most Violent Year”, starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain.

The two stars play husband and wife, trying to make a living in in a crime-ridden New York City. Isaac and Chastain are also former Juilliard classmates, and in an interview with HuffPost Entertainment, Chandor revealed that Chastain will also be getting a casting credit for introducing him to Isaac after Javier Bardem dropped out. “I slowly realized there wasn't anyone else to get the part," Chandor told HuffPost Entertainment, "Making the character a little younger and casting someone at a pivotal moment in the beginning of his career was fascinating to me. It became a no-brainer, but Jessica gets a casting director credit for it."

“A Most Violent Year” opens in limited theatres on December 31, then expands in January 2015.
