As announced by Marvel, the talented Daniel Brühl has joined the upcoming production of "Captain America: Civil War". It has not been confirmed which role he will play yet but I'm very pleased to learn about this news, as it's about time this actor receives the recognition he deserves.

Having captivated audiences as Niki Lauda in "Rush" opposite Chris Hemsworth and appearing in such films as "Inglourious Basterds" and "The Fifth Estate", the actor has definitely been keeping busy, showing us the many sides of his abilities. Brühl has worked with many incredible directors to date and after Joe and Anthony Russo gave us the acclaimed "Captain America: The Winter Solider", I can't wait to see how they collaborate on this one.

Chris Evans is returning as Cap, Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man will be making an appearance, along with Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther. We have heard murmurs of Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye joining the production as well and since Scarlett Johansson shared so much screen time with Evans in the sequel, I wonder if she too will be back.

On the addition of Brühl, Marvel President Kevin Feige stated, "With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes."

More Cap, Iron Man, Black Panther and a Civil War brewing, all brought to life by the talented Russo Bros.? Where do I sign?

Are you looking forward to the addition of Brühl? Let us know in the comments section below!
