First Trailer Released for Marvel's ANT-MAN

By Amirose Eisenbach April 13, 2015

We saw the first teaser for Marvel's "Ant-Man" a couple of months ago and many found it to be a bit lackluster. At the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" press conference last weekend, the first official trailer was released and hesitations seemed to have been squashed, as it was pretty fantastic.

With the first positive screenings of "Age of Ultron" and the premiere in Los Angeles being held tonight, the force that is Joss Whedon's sequel is very much underway. That allows Marvel to start kicking up marketing and promotion for Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man", which certianly needs more help than the reprise of the superhero ensemble.

Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Corey Stoll will serve as Lang's main foe, Yellowjacket and the lovely Evangeline Lilly plays Hope Van Dyne.

Rudd and Douglas seem to have a great dynamic on-screen and Rudd's comedic sensibilities appear to fit in well with the humor of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You now officially have our attention for this one, Marvel. We can't wait to see more.
