    Zoey Deutch is steadily building on her body of work with dynamic roles alongside notable actors and filmmakers. Deutch co-stars in Richard Linklater's latest film Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), a film about a group of college kids navigating their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. The film, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival, was released by Paramount in April 2016. Starring opposite Bryan Cranston and James Franco, Deutch's next project is Why Him? (2016), a film about an overprotective but loving dad (Cranston) who visits his daughter at Stanford and meets his biggest nightmare: her well-meaning but socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend, Laird (James Franco). Directed by John Hamburg (I Love You, Man (2009), the film will be released by 20th Century Fox on December 25th. Deutch is also set to appear in Danny Strong's upcoming film Rebel in the Rye (2017) opposite Kevin Spacey and Nicholas Hoult. Based on a true story, the film follows author J.D. Salinger (Hoult) as he prepares to write his classic novel, "Catcher in the Rye". Deutch will play Oona O'Neill, the daughter of legendary playwright Eugene O'Neill, who has an affair with Salinger. Zoey also stars in Flower (2017) opposite Kathryn Hahn and Adam Scott. Flower is directed by Max Winkler, and was the first film to be picked up at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017. Deutch appears in Vincent N Roxxy (2016), a film that follows a small town loner and a rebellious punk rocker as they unexpectedly fall in love and are forced on the run, that had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2016. She co-stars in the film opposite Emile Hirsch, Zoë Kravitz and Emory Cohen. Zoey was also seen in the comedy _Dirty Grandpa_ opposite Robert De Niro and Zac Efron. Directed by'Dan Mazer', the film centers on a wacky road-trip that unfolds as an uptight man (Efron) is tricked into driving his horny grandfather (De Niro) to Florida for spring break. In 2014, Deutch played the lead role in the Weinstein Company's Vampire Academy (2014). Starring as Rose Hathaway, the actress's performance as a Dhampir - half human-half vampire - garnered her a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Movie Actress: Comedy. In addition, she was featured alongside Viola Davis and Emma Thompson in the film adaptation by Warner Bros. of the best-selling novel _Beautiful Creatures_. On the independent film front, Deutch has wrapped production on several projects. She stars in Before I Fall (2017) for director Ry Russo-Young, the adaptation of the 2010 YA novel by Lauren Oliver for Awesomeness Films. The film centers on Samantha Kingston (Deutch), a high school senior who finds that she may be living the last day of her life over and over until she gets it right. In addition, she recently starred opposite her sister Madelyn Deutch in The Year of Spectacular Men (2017), which was the feature directorial debut of their mother Lea Thompson, and written by her sister. The film, which follows a young woman (Madelyn Deutch) fresh out of college as she strikes up and torches relationships with several men, shows Deutch in a contrasting role as the movie star sister with a loving boyfriend (Avan Jogia). She stars alongside Julia Garner, Nicholas Braun, and Dayo Okeniyi in the comedy Good Kids (2016), which tells the story of four overachieving high-school students living in Cape Cod who decide to reinvent themselves following graduation. The script, written by Chris McCoy, made the 2011 Black List. Deutch first became known for her role as Maya on The Disney Channel show The Suite Life on Deck (2008), which earned her further roles as a rising star in Hollywood. She also starred as Juliet Martin, Sarah Michelle Gellar's troubled stepdaughter, in the CW's Ringer(2011). Committed to several charitable causes, Deutch is a strong supporter of the Corazon De Vida Orphanage in Tijuana, and has performed for The Alzheimer's Association, What A Pair, and Race to Erase MS benefits.     A charming and striking actress, Halston Sage continues to gain fame, working alongside notable actors and filmmakers. She was most recently seen in the film Before I Fall (2017), based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Lauren Oliver. Later in 2017, Sage will appear on television in Seth MacFarlane's dramedy for Fox, The Orville (2017). She was born Halston Jean Schrage in Los Angeles, California, to Lenny and Tema Schrage, and has two younger siblings, Max and Kate. In addition to her acting credits, Sage rode horses for eight years and is an award-winning equestrian. She possesses a great love for writing and was the editor of her school newspaper. Sage broke into modeling at the age of fourteen, when she realized she had a passion for acting. She guest-starred on Nickelodeon's Victorious (2010) and Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, and starred as Brianna in the Jon Kasdan-directed teen drama film, The First Time (2012), opposite Britt Robertson, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.     Jennifer Beals was born in December 1963 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the city. With a life-long desire for acting, Beals first appeared in small high school plays and even got an uncredited bit part in My Bodyguard (1980) in 1980. After graduation, she enrolled in college at Yale University, studying American literature. She appeared in her first starring role in the movie Flashdance (1983) while still a freshman at Yale. While at Yale, she also starred in Franc Roddam's The Bride (1985). After graduation from Yale, Beals married independent filmmaker Alexandre Rockwell in 1986, and has appeared in several of his films. Most notably, she starred in his In the Soup (1992), which won the 1992 Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Deauville Film Festival. Beals continued to find acting work in various movies and TV productions through the 1990s and 2000s, in lead and supporting roles. One of her most notable roles came in 2004 when she was cast in the Showtime TV-cable series The L Word (2004) as a lesbian art gallery manager named "Bette Porter," a role she played throughout its entire run until 2009. She played Police Superintendant Teresa Colvin on the Fox Network crime series The Chicago Code (2011). She now plays Dr. Carolyn Tyler in the 2015 TV series Proof (2015). Beals divorced Rockwell in 1996 and married Canadian entrepreneur Ken Dixon two years later. They had a daughter in 2005.
