Director Park Chan-wook delivers an absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful noir film, filled with all of the twists and turns you could want, and then some. Even if the acting wasn’t incredibly stellar – which it is – you could discuss the film’s brilliant camera work for hours. Watching this you can immediately see why he won Best Director at Cannes Film Festival. As South Korea’s entry into the Oscars, this is a cinephile’s dream film and will be talked about in film classes everywhere.
