Synopsis

A streetwise teenage runaway is on the lam from her Probation Officer. Her name is Jacquelyn but if you call her anything but JACK, she’ll cut you. Needing to lay low and earn money so she can rescue her younger sister COKE from foster care, Jack cons her way into a suburban home as the live-in helper for a family's autistic daughter, GLORY. BFF Symposium Tour Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) is committed to providing educational resources for aspiring artists by launching the BFF Foundation, a 501c3 not for profit organization, whose mission is to champion women and diversity in all media by providing grants and other resources. As part of the launch of our foundation, BFF is hosting special screenings of our winning films at AMC Theatres across the country. These events will include a screening of JACK OF THE RED HEARTS, followed by a panel discussion and reception. Panelist will include filmmakers Janet Grillo, Lucy Murkerjee Brown and Jennifer Deaton as well as notable cast from the film and industry tastemakers. Following the panel discussion, attendees will be invited to a meet & greet with our esteemed panelist. There will also be opportunities to network with industry professionals during the private reception.
