Dreams Come True at Night

MIDNIGHT SUN is a romantic tearjerker about 17-year-old Katie Price (Bella Thorne), sheltered at home since childhood with a rare genetic condition, a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. Having only her father Jack (Rob Riggle) for company, Katie's world opens up after dark when she ventures outside to play her guitar. One night, her dreams come true when sheas noticed and asked out by her longtime crush Charlie (Patrick Schwarzenegger), whom sheas secretly watched from her bedroom window for years. As they embark on nightly summer excursions, Katieas risk to sunlight grows and sheas presented with the gut-wrenching dilemma of whether she can live a normal life with her newfound soul mate.

    Comedian, actor and United States Marine Corps Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Robert Allen Riggle, Jr. was born April 21, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Sandra (Shrout) and Robert Allen Riggle, who worked in insurance. Riggle has amassed many notable television credits and has also earned roles in several feature films, including The Lorax (2012) and 21 Jump Street (2012). After graduating from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Theater and Film, Riggle joined the Marines and earned a Master's degree from Webster University in Public Administration. Riggle had intentions of becoming a Marine Corps pilot, but eventually left the military to pursue a career in comedy. A featured cast member on Saturday Night Live (1975) during the 2004/2005 season, Riggle then joined Comedy Central's The Daily Show (1996) in 2006 as a correspondent. Riggle's numerous television appearances, including credits on Arrested Development (2003), Chappelle's Show (2003), 30 Rock (2006) and The Office (2005) would lead to big-screen roles in Step Brothers (2008), The Hangover (2009) and The Other Guys (2010). When he is not on set or traveling across the United States performing stand-up comedy, Rob Riggle lives in Los Angeles.

    Tiera Skovbye was born in Vancouver, Canada. She comes from a Scandinavian background and most of her extended family reside in Sweden and Denmark. She began her acting career at the age of seven when she was spotted by an agent at the Children's Festival in Vancouver. After several commercial bookings, Tiera eventually landed her first lead role in a series of children's DVDs by Warner Home Entertainment entitled "McKid's Adventures". This gradually led to roles in such hit shows as Supernatural (2005), Kaya (2007), The Troop (2009), Wingin' It (2010), "The Haunting Hour" and Spooksville (2013). More recently Tiera booked her first lead role in a pilot, playing Sam Turner in the CBC pilot "Wishing Well". This was followed by the lead role of Raven in the Lifetime movie Forever 16 (2013), and the role of Mia in the CW pilot "Blink". Given her height and natural beauty, Tiera was scouted by an international modeling agency in 2008, having just turned 13 years old. She has since modeled in a string of campaigns for various designers and photographers and it has taken her around the globe, including North America, Asia and Europe. She has also had fashion editorials in several magazine,s including "Elle Canada", "Wedding Bells", "Plaid", "Chloe" and "Elle China". Tiera has always had a love for theatre and has studied many of the plays of William Shakespeare at Bard on the Beach, working with an impressive array of acting coaches and mentors. She has played the role of Elizabeth in an adaptation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island.She has also trained extensively at a number of top acting schools in Vancouver, most notably Kate Twa at Railtown Actors Studio. As Tiera continues to study and wholeheartedly pursue acting, she hopes to one day end up in Los Angeles, living the dream as a full-time actor.
