From Summit Entertainment. STEP UP 4 is the next installment in the worldwide smash Step Up franchise, which sets the dancing against the vibrant backdrop of Miami. Emily, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer, but soon falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs. The crew, called the MOB, strives to win a contest for a major sponsorship opportunity, but soon Emily's father threatens to develop the MOB's historic neighborhood and displace thousands of people. Emily must band together with Sean and the MOB to turn their performance mobs into protest mobs, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.

    Ryan Anthony Guzman is an American actor, model, and mixed martial arts fighter. He was born September 21, 1987 in Abilene, Texas, to Lisa (Hudson) and Ray Guzman. After his father's service in the Air Force ended, the family moved to Sacramento, CA to raise Ryan and later on his younger brother Steven. In 2006 Guzman was a left-handed pitcher for his collegiate team in Rocklin, CA, while simultaneously becoming a successful model in San Francisco, and training in mixed martial arts (M.M.A.). The end of his baseball career in 2009 offered him ample time to devote to his love for martial arts, and he soon found himself fighting in the octagon as a welterweight (170 lbs). In Sept. of 2010, he decided to move to Los Angeles, and within 6 months, he found himself having success doing commercials. Through commercial work, an interest in acting started to arise for Guzman. Shortly after Ryan started taking acting classes, he signed with Luber Roklin Management, and two months later, he landed his big break and was cast as the lead in the highest grossing film dance franchise to date. Since moving to LA, Ryan has been keeping busy working on many popular films & TV shows.

    Kathryn McCormick was born in 1990, and started practicing dancing, at age 3, at her mother's dance studio, "Dance Connection". She then moved to "Augusta West Studio", where her mother had also studied. She moved to Los Angeles at age 18 and landed a non-leading role in the remake of Fame (2009). McCormick has also been featured in the "Jar of Hearts" music video, by Christina Perri. She also played the protagonist in the 4th "Step Up" movie, Step Up Revolution (2012).

    He was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He got his nickname, as a child, from popping and ticking, when he couldn't sit still. In 2000, he graduated from Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He went on to study Dance Performance at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama and Chapman University. In 2003, he was a semifinalist on MTV's The Wade Robson Project (2003). He was also a runner-up on the television talent competition, Star Search (2003). He has choreographed for South Korean pop/R&B singer, Se7en. In December 2009, he debuted on the comedy collective, TheKommune.com, in several sketch-series videos. He has taught dance classes and held workshops all over the world. In season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance (2005), tWitch was beat out by Hokuto 'Hok' Konishi and didn't make the top 20. He returned the following season and not only made it into the top 20, but was a runner-up in the Finals. He went on to tour with the top 10 finalists, where he performed, with Katee Shean, the Emmy-nominated piece, "Mercy", choreographed by Mia Michaels. In 2010, he was chosen as one of the 10 All-Star dancers for SYTYCD's season 7. He is a comic book fan, especially the Superman comics. He named his dog, a Jack Russel mix, "Krypto". His clothing line, tWitch Boss Clothing, first only offering t-shirts online, had the "T" within the Superman symbol on one of the t-shirts. He is a member of the dance troupes, "Breed OCLA" and "Chill Factor Crew".
