Ryan Beckman, a 20-year-old college student from a declining town in the northeast, struggles with a debilitating anxiety disorder following his father's death. Ryan lives with his mother, Renee, and spends his days apprenticing at a local tattoo shop and looking after his younger brother, James. When Ryan’s older brother, Jason, unexpectedly returns home from college, mid-semester, it’s clear that Ryan isn’t the only one battling demons. A mysterious entity begins stalking Ryan, and he is forced to confront the dark presence before it destroys what remains of his family.
