Bucky was Steve Rogers’ childhood best friend and fellow American soldier before he was captured by HYDRA, injected with super serum, and brainwashed into an unstoppable, cybernetic-armed assassination machine called the Winter Soldier. As a super soldier like Captain America, Bucky has enhanced strength, speed, agility, and durability combined with excellent hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, and espionage skills. Haunted by the sins of his brainwashed past, Bucky is constantly looking for a way to redeem himself.

As the adoptive younger sister of Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), Yelena was also trained by the Red Room Academy to be an expert assassin with proficiency in martial arts, firearms, and other weaponry. Driven to avenge Natasha’s death, she doesn’t have any superhuman abilities, but Yelena’s extensive training in psychological warfare and espionage make her as potent a threat as her older sister.

Red Guardian is a funny yet formidable super soldier and father figure to Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. Injected with the Soviet’s version of super serum, Alexei is equipped with super strength and hand-to-hand combat abilities even though his Soviet superhero glory days are nothing but a distant memory now. Whether warranted or not, Red Guardian is constantly bragging about his Cold War “fight” with Steve Rogers’ Captain America, but it’s unsure if his stories are actually truth, or tale.

Due to molecular instability from a fatal quantum energy accident that killed her parents, Ghost possesses the ability to phase through solid objects and even become invisible. She’s also an expert in stealth, which led her into conflict with Ant-Man due to their simultaneous search for a specific quantum healing particle. The same part that Ant-man needed to rescue the Wasp’s mother from the quantum realm, and Ghost sought to stabilize her unique condition.

Walker was originally cast as a suitable selection by the U.S. government to pick up the shield and replace Steve Rogers as Captain America. However, he began to unravel when the weight of wearing the stars and stripes dragged him down a darker path, and he used his super-soldier serum powers to kill a Flag Smasher in open public. Stripped from ever again bearing the title of Captain America, Walker was recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine where he was given the name U.S. Agent and a second chance.

Antonia is the daughter of the Red Room’s leader, Dreykov, the same Soviet academy that trained adoptive sisters Black Widow and Yelena Belova. Brainwashed by her own father, Taskmaster is a skilled assassin equipped with photographic reflex technology in her suit that allows her to replicate the physical movements of anyone she sees, even various Avengers.
