We’re getting to the end of 2019, which means it’s time to reflect on the year that has passed, as well as start making plans for the one that’s about to begin. Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish's caper LIKE A BOSS looks to kick off a funny and nasty 2020 with its release on January 10. LIKE A BOSS tells the story of Mia and Mel (Byrne and Haddish, respectively,) two best friends who run a cosmetic company named after themselves. As any budding entrepreneur can tell you, the road to success isn’t always an easy one, but it looks like their fortunes are about to see a turn for the better. That’s because beauty mogul Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) is about to invest in their company. Unfortunately for this pair of pals, that investment leads to some chaotic business dealings, and even the stealing of ideas. Mia and Mel will have to put their heads together to right this wrong, and they'll do so in the funniest way possible. Unique comedic teamings like Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne are the sort of dreams that movies like LIKE A BOSS are built around. This buddy comedy feels like a comfortable return to a well-tested genre, but in a refreshing new way. It definitely helps that on top of such a strong pair at the center of this film’s universe, there’s a incredible supporting cast involved as well. With actors like Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Rothwell and Billy Porter joining in on the fun, LIKE A BOSS isn’t afraid to spread the comedy love through a cast that’s as impressive as they are hilarious. However, you can only describe LIKE A BOSS in so many words. Watching the insanity in action helps paint a more vibrant picture. LIKE A BOSS seems like the movie that will do the trick, as all it wants to do is invite audiences to have fun, and maybe take some friends along for the ride. You’ll be able to do just that when LIKE A BOSS hits theatres on January 10, 2020 — just in time to deliver that much needed laughter in the new year.

Justice League is no doubt the year's biggest upcoming movie. With Dc's most famous characters set to appear together on the big screen for the first time, fans are beyond excited to see how the superhero film will bring them to life. Now, courtesy of Ezra Miller, we know something that certainly won't be making it to the big screen. Talking to EW, the actor revealed that while he is suiting up in the iconic Flash costume (well, a version of it anyway), it won't be popping out of the 'Flash Costume Ring'. In the Silver Age comics, Barry Allen uses the ring to shrink down and compress his costume in the ring, and spring-load it out when he wants to use it. The ring was even used by future Flash's Wally West and Bart Allen. But it appears that that portion of The Flash's costume won't make the cut. With Miller dishing to EW: I can confirm, spoiler alert, his suit does not pop out of his ring [in the movie]. Things have to progress, you know? Original Barry Allen was clearly an incredibly, incredibly clever scientist. We acknowledge and respect that. We want to apologize to the fans who are mad about the ring thing. While it's good that Ezra Miller certainly seems to have a handle on the Flash-lore, it is sad that the part of the Flash won't be in the Justice League simply because it's yet another discrepancy between the DCEU's The Flash and that of the comic books. Still, Miller did say that someday down the road — hopefully in his character's upcoming solo movie, Flashpoint — we will see the iconic ring: I know the ring is the coolest thing about the DC universe. It was a little hard for us to sell in this version of this universe right now. Bear with us! There’s gonna be other cool things. Miller's endorsement certainly rings true as the DCEU is in its initial stage of development, and it makes sense that the prototype suit wouldn't come with the ring itself. Still, it certainly is disheartening for fans who have wished to see the Flash Costume ring show up in the movie, since it's also not present in the CW TV series as of yet. Justice League hits theaters November 17.
