Synopsis

BRO' The Film stars Danny Trejo (Machete, Con Air, Spy Kids), freestyle motocross superstars Beau Manley and Colin 'Scummy' Morrison (both original members of the Metal Mulisha riding team), Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter, Habit, Wendigo), and Gunner Wright (J. Edgar, Love, Dead Space 2). BRO' is highly anticipated because it showcases freestyle motocross with an all-star ensemble cast while depicting the lifestyle realistically. BRO' chronicles the rite of passage of a young suburban college student, Johnny. When Johnny meets Stephanie, she takes him to meet her brother, Jesse, at a freestyle motocross event in Riverside, California. Jesse takes the young, eager Johnny under his wing and shows him the party lifestyle. His involvement with drugs, girls, and freestyle motocross begin to clash with his religious and moral upbringing. It only takes Johnny a few mistakes to end up doing time in the L.A. County Jail, also losing his girlfriend and his reputation. Upon his release, Johnny must decide what's truly important. BRO' is reminiscent of movies such as Bully, Kids and Havoc. It shows an urban and authentic vision of how far someone will go to achieve a sense of belonging.
