The Spy Who Came In From The Cold

This movie is based on the novel by John Le Carre and features Richard Burton as a Cold War spy named Alex Leamas. He is sent to East Germany to supposedly defect, but he is really there to send out disinformation. As the plot goes on he becomes convinced that his own people are using him as just a cog. His struggle back becomes the focus of the story.
