All week long, we’re celebrating the movies and the moviegoing experience in Las Vegas at CinemaCon. Follow us on Twitter and here at AMC Scene for daily updates, exclusive peeks and celebrity interviews for the biggest movies opening this summer and beyond. The event begins Monday night with Sony Pictures and wraps on Thursday with an exclusive preview of the R-Rated Comedy, JOY RIDE.
Sony Pictures
The week long event kicked off with a presentation from Sony Pictures highlighting its upcoming releases. One of the big reveals of the presentation came in the form of a 14-minute clip showing footage from the highly anticipated SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE.
In addition to building anticipation for BAD BOYS 4 — with video from the set, featuring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence — INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR, the Denzel Washington-starring EQUALIZER 3, Ridley Scott’s NAPOLEON and Neill Blomkamp’s sports-drama, GRAN TURISMO, attendees at CinemaCon got a peek at some of the dailies from ANYONE BUT YOU, the romantic comedy starring Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney. The first footage of KRAVEN THE HUNTER was also revealed, along with confirmation that the film will be rated R.

Warner Brothers Pictures
It’s a big year for Warner Bros, as the studio is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023. WB celebrated that and more at their CinemaCon presentation, including featuring clips from their films from over the course of the last century. But it wasn’t all about looking back, as the studio also showcased some of their most anticipated titles, including BARBIE, THE FLASH, THE COLOR PURPLE, WONKA and THE NUN 2. As if those aren’t exciting enough, Warner Bros also showed off the first trailer for DUNE PART 2. Of course, they didn’t leave out DC. We already mentioned THE FLASH, but the upcoming film isn’t the only DC movie to anticipate from the studio. WB also presented a new trailer for AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM, and featured a panel for the upcoming DC film, BLUE BEETLE.
Later in the evening, WB entertained the audience with a special presentation of Andy Muschietti’s, THE FLASH. In preparation for the summer blockbuster, here is everything we know about the Crimson Comet solo adventure.

Walt Disney Studios
CinemaCon attendees were treated to an exciting (and haunting) presentation from Walt Disney Studios. Also celebrating their 100th anniversary this year, Disney has no shortage of big titles coming up across their various brands. Those in attendance of their CinemaCon presentation were offered a look at Pixar’s upcoming ELEMENTAL, the anticipated live-action remake of THE LITTLE MERMAID and Disney’s new feature film take on the classic theme park ride, HAUNTED MANSION. The presentation also featured a song from the upcoming Disney film WISH, which stars Ariana Debose. The presentation was capped off with a video appearance by Harrison Ford, who was on screen to introduce an extended scene from the upcoming INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY.
After the presentation, audiences were given an exclusive presentation of THE BOOGEYMAN, before its June 2nd release. The new horror movie — an adaptation of a Stephen King story — has already been recognized as an AMC Thrills & Chills selection.

Universal Pictures
On Wednesday, Universal Pictures and Focus Features’ presentation at CinemaCon showcased several exciting new films, including Wes Anderson’s ASTEROID CITY, Christopher Nolan’s OPPENHEIMER, and the highly anticipated FAST & FURIOUS movie, FAST X, due to arrive in theaters in less than a month. Vin Diesel and other cast members from the upcoming action movie took the stage to talk about what’s to come for the Fast franchise, which includes a Part 2 for FAST X that's expected hit theatres in 2025. And of course, attendees were given a glimpse of some of the extreme action in FAST X.
It wasn’t all about live-action for Universal, as the studio had some exciting animated movies to show off at their presentation, including the fourth KUNG FU PANDA movie, the next TROLLS film, TROLLS BAND TOGETHER, and the start of a new story with RUBY GILLMAN, TEENAGE KRAKEN, which stars Lana Condor as the titular teen Kraken!
As if all of that weren’t exciting enough, attendees at CinemaCon were treated to a rough cut clip from the feature adaptation of the massively popular Broadway production, WICKED, which will star Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the lead roles. The film is still in production, but is set to arrive in theatres in late 2024.
