Lev Yachine was recruited by the Dynamo Moscow Club in 1950 as a reserve goalie in hockey and soccer. His final passage to the round ball is made thanks to the replacement of the number one cerberus, undermined by a serious injury. Lev Yachine then impresses with his unique style and his ability to block shots. In 1954, he led his family to conquer the USSR championship and married Valia, with whom he had two children. As part of the Soviet national team, he won many important tournaments and saw his popularity skyrocket. In 1962, he was unfairly accused of causing his country's defeat at the hands of Chile after playing despite a concussion. He will refuse to throw in the towel and fight to regain the esteem of his people.
