Navaniat Singh, the director of Punjabi Super Hits 'Mel Karade Rabba' & 'Tera Mera Ki Rishta' is presenting his third Punjabi film 'Dharti'. Its a dramatic political thriller with a social message, starring Japji Khehra along with Jimmy Shergill, as an Air force officer. Dharti is a Punjabi-Hindi bilingual film. While the story and setting is mainly in Punjab, the Hindi version would be an added bonus. The renowned Music Director, Jaidev has composed Music for 'Dharti'. Navniat Singh has a history of introducing a number of singers for the songs in his films and in 'Dharti' he is directing songs by famous singers like Mika Singh, Daler Mehndi, Neeraj Shreedhar and Rabbi Shergill. As each of these singers have their own different genre & style, they bring freshness and add musical harmony to 'Dharti' .
