Errol Flynn stars in the swashbuckling role that made him a star as the legendary hero Robin Hood, fighting to rid England of the tyranny of Prince John while trying to win the love of the beautiful Maid Marian in the classic The Adventures of Robin Hood. When King Richard the Lion Heart (Ian Hunter) leaves to fight in the Crusades, the evil Prince John (Claude Rains) plots with the help of Sir Guy of Gisbourne (Basil Rathbone) to usurp the throne.
