Sightline at AMC FAQ

Got questions? We’ve got answers. Here are some FAQs about our Sightline at AMC program:

Sightline is a value-based program, providing moviegoers with multiple options to meet their viewing preferences.

Sightline is a nationwide program that will be expanded more broadly in the coming months.

Reserved seating allows guests to choose their seat before arriving to the auditorium. If another guest is sitting in your reserved seat, please notify a team member and they will be happy to assist.

Preferred Sightline seats include select seats in the middle of the auditorium that are preferred by some moviegoers.

Standard Sightline seats are the remaining seats that are not a Preferred Sightline seat or a Value Sightline seat.

Value Sightline seats are typically located in the front row and select wheelchair accessible seats, indicated with a blue color on the seat map of all auditoriums.

Yes, we design our auditoriums to ensure that every seat provides a great viewing experience.

No, Preferred Sightline seats cost the same for everyone. The extra cost associated with these seats will be waived for AMC Stubs A-List reservations, as a benefit of their A-List membership. All AMC Stubs membership tiers receive a discount for Value Sightline seats purchased.

Accessibility is very important to us which is why we’ve ensured guests who require the use of a wheelchair space or companion seat never have to pay more for that option. Where available, some auditoriums will have wheelchair and companion Value Sightline seats.

AMC Re-Admit Passes, AMC GuestFirst Passes, and AMC Guest Passes cover the full price of the ticket that is being purchased, including the cost of a Preferred Sightline seat. Black, Yellow, Green, and Red Tickets do not cover the additional cost of a Preferred Sightline seat.
