Where’d You Go, Bernadette Story
WHERE’D YOU GO, BERNADETTE, follows Bernadette Fox, a Seattle woman who had it all: a loving husband named Elgin and brilliant daughter named Bee. But then, she unexpectedly disappears, setting her family off on an exciting adventure to solve the mystery.
In the novel, Bee compiles emails, official documents and secret correspondence to find her mom, which constantly shifts the point of view of the narrator. Whether or not this will play into the movie is as unknown as Bernadette’s whereabouts.

Where’d You Go, Bernadette Cast
WHERE’D YOU GO, BERNADETTE, has an all-star cast, with Oscar winner Cate Blanchett in the lead role of Bernadette Fox. Once a revolutionary architect, Bernadette left her career to focus on her family. Billy Crudup plays Bernadette’s Microsoft big wig husband, Elgin, while newcomer Emma Nelson plays their 15-year-old daughter, Bee.
Kristen Wiig is the overbearing next door neighbor, Audrey, who appears to have at least a couple of run-ins with Bernadette.
Judy Greer and Laurence Fishburne both claim supporting roles, Greer as Dr. Kurtz, the director of a treatment hospital for drugs and mental illness. (We'd tell you who checks in there, but no spoilers here!) We haven’t found any details about Fishburne’s character, but based on the trailer, we believe he is a friend and/or co-worker from Bernadette’s past, who encourages her to go back to her career.
