AMC Stubs® Cast Policies and Procedures

These terms and conditions (these "AMC Stubs Cast Terms") govern the AMC Stubs® Cast membership. The AMC Stubs Cast membership is a benefit program brought to you by American Multi -Cinema, Inc. (collectively "we," "us," "our," "ours," “AMC Theatres”). Participation in and use of the AMC Stubs Cast membership ("Membership") at any time subjects the user ("you," "your," "yours," "Associate Member") to the provisions of these AMC Stubs Cast Terms, as amended from time to time

1. ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Membership into AMC Stubs Cast is free to all active AMC associates. Associates are automatically enrolled in AMC Stubs Cast at time of hire. Associates will receive a Welcome Email to their personal email address listed in Associate Self-Service, which also serves as the account username. Using the link provided in the Welcome Email, associates should register their account online at www.amctheatres.com/amcstubs/associate.

New associates who have an active AMC Stubs Insider, AMC Stubs Premiere membership registered to the same email address as in Associate Self-Service will have their accounts automatically converted to AMC Stubs Cast with points and earned rewards intact. Premiere members will also have the price of one annual membership credited as points to their AMC Stubs Cast account.

New associates who have an active AMC Stubs A-List membership registered to the same email address as in Associate Self-Service will have their A-List subscription automatically cancelled within 2-3 days of hire with any applicable cancellation fees waved. Upon cancellation, these accounts will be downgraded immediately to Premiere tier and then be converted automatically to AMC Stubs Cast within 24 hours with points and earned rewards intact. These accounts will then behave like a Premiere membership and have the price of one annual Premiere membership credited as points to their AMC Stubs Cast account.

Participation in the loyalty program is not required. However, benefits outlined in the program are only available to those enrolled in an AMC Stubs Cast membership. To opt out of the program, contact https://www.amctheatres.com/contact.

Field associates may not enroll in any tier of the AMC Stubs program other than the Cast tier without approval from the program Director, and may not use, or otherwise profit from membership in the AMC Stubs program.

Membership in AMC Stubs Cast will also involve use of our website including the mobile version thereof and use of the website is subject to our Terms & Conditions of Use ("General Terms"). The following is a link to the current General Terms:  https://www.amctheatres.com/terms-and-conditions.  You agree that your Membership or use of AMC Stubs Cast also subjects you to the General Terms. In particular, please note that the General Terms that apply to AMC Stubs Cast and are incorporated into these AMC Stubs Cast Terms by this reference include without limitation Electronic Communications, Mobile Services, Use of Service Is At Your Own Risk, Disclaimer of Implied Warranties, Limits on Liability, Indemnity, Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver, and Applicable Law. In the event of any conflict between the AMC Stubs Cast Terms and the General Terms with respect to AMC Stubs Cast, the AMC Stubs Cast Terms will control.

 

2. GENERAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Associate Members MUST present their AMC Stubs Cast virtual card, username, or account number online or in-theatre with a matching valid ID to earn points, rewards, or take advantage of any special offers or discounts (subject to exceptions in the AMC Stubs Cast Terms).

Points will not be accumulated on free passes (as there is no charge for these tickets), however, an Associate Member must use their AMC Stubs Cast account number on the transaction to receive their free Cast ticket benefit.

Associate Members may only use their account for purchases made by the Associate Member and for consumption by the Associate Member and their companions. Associate Members must assign AMC Stubs Cast account to the transaction, and present valid ID to validate in-theatre purchases and attend the showtime for online purchases.

Account information may not be shared for use by anyone other than the Associate Member. Associate Membership accounts may not be used or applied to any non-associate guest purchases or any transactions on their assigned register(s).

Theatre Management and AMC Theatre Support Center personnel monitor the activity of all AMC Stubs memberships (guest and associate). Any excessive activity on an AMC Stubs membership is subject to investigation and disciplinary action if the activity on the membership is found to be fraudulent. Abuse of the privilege provided by AMC Stubs Cast membership may result in revocation of membership, disciplinary action up to and including termination and legal action as permitted by law.


3. MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL TERMS/CONDITIONS

a. As a benefit to its associates, AMC is allowing its associates to participate in the associate version of the AMC Stubs loyalty program (“AMC Stubs Cast” or the “Program”), without a fee. Only under extreme exceptions may associates participate in, or use, the AMC Stubs program available to AMC guests. Members of AMC Stubs Cast agree to these AMC Stubs Cast Terms, published and subject to periodic update at amctheatres.com/amcstubs/terms-and-conditions/Associate. These AMC Stubs Cast Terms replaces all previously published information, and AMC Stubs Cast members have the responsibility to check for any updates. If these AMC Stubs Cast Terms are updated, any changes will apply to all Associate Members, including associates enrolled before AMC Theatres posts the updated text, except as may be prohibited by law. We may terminate or alter any or all of the benefits available under the Program at any time. Notice and time to redeem points & rewards will be provided as per applicable laws. In the event of our termination of the Program, at our election we may maintain Membership benefits until expiration of special offers. 

b. By enrolling in AMC Stubs Cast, associates agree to receive advertising, marketing materials and other Program communications, unless expressly disallowed as a profile preference. Membership in AMC Stubs Cast is completely optional; however AMC field associates may not participate in, enroll, use or benefit from the guest version of the AMC Stubs loyalty program. We expect Associate Members to submit and maintain accurate and current user information in connection with their memberships. Such information includes name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. Periodically we will utilize the National Change of Address (NCOA) system to update the mailing addresses of accounts in our database through information provided by the United States Postal Service. Associate Members can change their account information via AMC Self Service application.  We cannot assume any, and disclaim all, liability for correspondence, mail or e-mail that is lost, delayed or misdirected.

c. Membership is valid only at participating AMC Theatres US locations listed at amctheatres.com. This program is not intended for individuals residing outside the U.S. Membership is open only to active AMC associates.

d. Membership accounts, benefits, points, special offers, and rewards (i) are nontransferable, except to a new Membership account for the same Associate Member in the case of a lost or stolen account number, (ii) have no cash value and are not gift cards or gift certificates, (iii) may not be offered for resale, and (iv) are not redeemable for cash under any circumstance unless required by law. Accumulated points, rewards and special offers do not constitute property of the Associate Member, nor are accumulated points, rewards and special offers transferable by the Associate Member upon death, as part of a domestic relations matter or otherwise. Points, rewards, special offers, tier cost, and other benefits of the Program may be taxable to the Associate Member where required by law. 

e. Participation in AMC Stubs Cast is not required. However, benefits outlined in the Program are only available to those enrolled in AMC Stubs Cast. To opt out of the Program, contact https://www.amctheatres.com/contact.

f. Associates using the AMC Stubs Cast membership for profit are not eligible to become or remain Associate Members or to accumulate points or rewards. Abuse of the Membership, including failure to follow these AMC Stubs Cast Terms, may result in cancellation of the Associate Member’s account, future disqualification from participation, forfeiture of all points and rewards accrued and disciplinary action up to and including termination, in addition to other remedies available to us under applicable law. AMC reserves the right to terminate accounts in the event of suspected abuse or fraud of the Program. In connection with the enforcement of any provision of these AMC Stubs Cast Terms governing the Membership, AMC Theatres reserves the right to take appropriate legal action as it deems necessary and will be entitled to recover damages, attorneys’ fees and court costs as allowed by applicable law. If a Membership is cancelled and the Associate Member is an AMC Entertainment Visa Cardholder, their credit card will also be cancelled. We may terminate a Membership, including any associated accounts, without notice, for any reason in our sole discretion, including, without limitation, abusive, vulgar, or offensive behavior by the Associate Member, or any member of the Associate Member’s party, towards any AMC associate or other guest of AMC Theatres while on property, our belief that continued use of such Membership would violate any provisions of these AMC Stubs Cast Terms or applicable law, or would otherwise be harmful to our interests. In the event of any such termination by AMC Theatres or as a result of fraudulent behavior or misuse of the Program, points, rewards and special discounts earned will be forfeited subject to applicable laws. Examples of fraudulent behavior that may result in Membership cancellation include, but are not limited to (1) making purchases either online, through AMC or third party vendors, or at the theatre and then refunding in an attempt to inflate spending or transactions on an Associate Member’s account, and (2) posting Associate Member-directed promotional offers or coupons, or an account number on websites or reproducing for use by third parties or public websites.

f. We may terminate or alter any or all of the benefits available under the Membership at any time. Notice and time to redeem points & rewards will be provided as per applicable laws. In the event of our termination of the Program, at our election we may maintain Membership benefits until expiration of special offers. 

g. Associate Members may be provided with the ability to use usernames, passwords, or other codes or devices to gain access to restricted portions of the website, amctheatres.com. Each Associate Member has the responsibility for the use of his/her own password and username to gain access to the loyalty website. We will have no responsibility for Associate Member’s inability to access such restricted portions of such website if Associate Member has lost or forgotten username, password or other necessary code. Associate Members can request a password reset be emailed to them at amctheatres.com/amcstubs.

h. The information provided by the Associate Member is subject to and will be handled according to the AMC Theatres Privacy Policy, available at amctheatres.com/privacy-policy.

4. BENEFITS.

AMC Stubs Cast entitles Associate Members to the following Membership benefits. All benefits, rewards, special offers, and other savings received are treated as discounts for tax purposes. 

Associate Members MUST present their AMC Stubs Cast virtual card, username, or account number online or in-theatre with a matching valid ID to earn points, rewards, or take advantage of any special offers or discounts.

Points may ONLY be earned on paid transactions by the Associate Member. Account information may not be shared for use by anyone other than the Associate Member. Associate Membership accounts may not be used or applied to any non-associate guest purchases or any transactions on their assigned register(s).

a. Accumulation of points.  AMC Stubs Cast members will receive 100 points per every one dollar spent on eligible purchases at a participating AMC Theatres location by presenting or entering their AMC Stubs account number during box office and concession stand transactions, when purchasing tickets at an in-theatre kiosk, or when purchasing tickets online at amctheatres.com and other approved ticketing partners. AMC Stubs points will be placed into a pending status and awarded on the business day following the showtime of the ticket(s) or pickup date of concession items purchased. AMC Stubs Cast members receive AMC Stubs points on purchased tickets and concessions; no additional AMC Stubs points for admission tickets provided as part OnePass or discounts provided by AMC Stubs Cast benefits.

If you have an active AMC Stubs Cast membership, earned points will not expire. (Per section (c) below, activated virtual rewards are subject to expiration)

Maximum qualifying earn per day is 50,000 points; maximum number of eligible transactions per day is 10 per account. This 10-transaction limit may be lifted for special events. Associate Members will not receive credit for spend greater than 50,000 points per day per AMC Stubs Cast accounts. Manual adjustments will not be available for accounts that hit this threshold. This 10-transaction limit may be lifted for special events. Points earned from the AMC Entertainment Visa Card are not subject to the daily earn limits listed in this section.

b. Ineligible Purchases. The following purchases or products are NOT eligible toward earning AMC Stubs points. Some of these purchases or products may be eligible to earn points by using the AMC Entertainment Visa Card. See credit card terms for details.

  • Free tickets included with the OnePass benefits
  • AMC pre-paid discount, bulk or exchange tickets, show snack coupons, passes or free admissions of any sort, admissions granted as a benefit of the AMC Stubs A-List program, third party subscriptions (including without limitation MoviePass™) or other discounted or bulk purchase items, either at the time of purchase OR time of redemption.
  • Membership Fees including but not limited to A-List monthly fees and Premiere annual fee.
  • Initial purchase of gift cards; gift cards are eligible toward earning rewards upon REDEMPTION at AMC Theatres locations in the U.S. but NOT upon initial purchase.
  • Tips given to AMC employees.
  • Auditorium or theatre rental event fees.
  • Convenience, service or delivery fees
  • Tickets or concessions purchased for organizations, legal entities or groups such as, but not limited to businesses, churches, daycare, non-profits, etc. via auditorium buyout or otherwise.
  • Purchases that are refunded.
  • Purchases made at AMC Theatres’ Amazon.com page.
  • Purchases made at a sublet space within an AMC Theatres location.
  • Arcade purchases.
  • Retail merchandise purchased online.
  • Sales tax.
  • Home delivery orders
  • Grocery popcorn
  • Charitable donations or charitable products sold at AMC Theatres locations.
  • Restrictions may apply to use or earning of points on purchases of alcohol, depending on the jurisdiction.
  • Certain restrictions and exclusions may apply.

c. Virtual Rewards. For every 5,000 points accumulated on purchases made at participating AMC Theatres locations, AMC Theatres website and mobile app, via the AMC Entertainment Visa Card, and from approved ticketing partners, Associate Members are eligible to activate a $5 virtual reward.  Associate Members may convert accumulated points to rewards, in increments of $5, when signed into their account online at amctheatres.com/amcstubs or on the AMC Theatres mobile app. After a $5 reward is activated the points will be immediately deducted from total point balance. 

Once activated, the $5 virtual reward will appear in the Associate Member’s account. Rewards have no cash value.  All earned rewards are valid for 90 days from date of issuance at which time they will expire.  Bonus reward (Bonus Bucks or other food and beverage items) expirations vary and expiration date will be posted along with offer. An Associate Member may redeem their earned and unexpired rewards online at amctheatres.com, on the AMC Theatres Mobile app and at participating theatre locations.

Rewards earned under the AMC Stubs Cast membership are only redeemable for valid ticket and concession purchases. Exclusions apply. Associate Member may redeem his/her earned and unexpired rewards online at amctheatres.com and at participating AMC Theatres locations in the US.

Activated and available rewards will be treated as a discount. Associate Members may choose when to apply them online within the checkout flow or notify their cashier to apply their activated rewards at their favorite theatre. Rewards will apply to eligible items within order and any unused reward value will be available to be applied on future purchases until expiration.

d. OnePass ticket benefit. Associate Members are eligible through AMC Stubs Cast accounts to see free movies.

  • Number of passes. Associate Members may only use their assigned account for free passes for themselves and their guests accompanying them.  The number of passes allowed is based on position

    Crew & 1 and Supervisor & 2 – these pass counts are auto-assigned by Benefits

    Hourly Managers (up to 6) and Senior/General Managers (up to 18) and TSC (up to 18) – Passes are assigned by associate in Pass Portal. Associates must assign passes to own AMC Stubs Cast account to be eligible for free movie passes.

    These pass counts may change based on performance awards periodically throughout the year for specific positions or associates. These will be communicated by TSC teams.
  • Nontransferable. The Associate Members must purchase Benefit eligible items and accompany their guests for the duration of the show. OnePass tickets cannot be purchased and given away or sold.
  • Advance transactions. OnePass tickets may not be requested more than two (2) hours in advance of showtime. Associate Members are responsible to pay for any showtimes beyond 2 hours.

    Work arounds to this policy, including but not limited to the purchasing of advance tickets and refunding with the intent to re-purchase with OnePass are strictly forbidden as this holds a seat and prevents a potential paid ticket purchase.
  • Usage Limit. OnePass ticket benefits are limited to one (1) showtime per day.
  • Pass Augmentation. Pass holders do not have any additional pass benefits. Pass privileges are limited to the number of passes assigned through the OnePass System. Abuse of the AMC Stubs OnePass Membership, including failure to follow these AMC Stubs Cast Terms, may result in cancellation of the Associate Member’s account, future disqualification from participation, forfeiture of all points and rewards accrued and disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • Title, Showtime or Date Restrictions. There may be times when the pass benefits not available for usage. When this restriction occurs, it will be communicated in advance.

e. Private theatre rentals discount. AMC Stubs Cast members receive 25% off a Private Theatre Rentals (PTR). The Associate Member must purchase and accompany their guests for the duration of the show. Limit one transaction per day.

f. Concession Upgrades. Associate Members will receive free upgrades on fountain drinks and popcorn (regular to large). Small sizes excluded. Free upgrade cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, promotional size or upon redemption of a Show Snack coupon. Gourmet popcorn, Home Delivery, Grocery popcorn, and promotional offers are excluded from concession upgrades.

g. Free Regular Popcorn every day. AMC Stubs Cast members receive 1 (one) free regular popcorn per day using their AMC Stubs Cast account. This benefit can only be utilized one time per day and may only be used for consumption by the associate and their accompanied guests. AMC Stubs Cast account and matching ID must be presented at time of purchase in theatre.

h. 50% off Food and Beverage transactions. AMC Stubs Cast members receive 50% off eligible food and beverage items up to a $25 discount. This benefit may only be used for consumption by the associate and their accompanied guests. Benefit excludes alcohol and merchandise. AMC Stubs Cast account and matching ID must be presented at time of purchase in theatre.

i. Ticketing Fee Waiver.  AMC Stubs Cast members will receive all online ticketing fees waived when purchasing tickets through amctheatres.com, the AMC Mobile app or other designated ticketing partners.

j. Birthday Gift.  AMC Stubs Cast members will receive a birthday gift of a free large popcorn and a free large soda. The birthday gift will be automatically loaded onto the AMC Stubs Cast account on the first day of the birthday month. Offer is valid for one calendar month from the date of issuance at which time it will expire. The birthday gift will be automatically redeemed when ordering food and beverage products online or at participating AMC Theatres locations in the US by presenting the AMC Stubs Cast account. Gourmet popcorn and promotional offers are excluded from the birthday gift.

k. Refills.  AMC Stubs Cast members will receive one same day free refill on large popcorn purchases or second refill on Classic Annual Bucket with valid receipt. Gourmet popcorn and promotional offers are excluded.

l. 50% off Tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Members are eligible for tickets at 50% discount on base adult evening price on eligible showtimes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. AMC Stubs Cast Member number must be present on the transaction to receive discount. Limit of 10 tickets per show date. Discount does not apply to convenience fee, if applicable, surcharge for premium formats or special events, or tax. Surcharges for premium formats and special events may apply. Exclusions apply. Premium events such as, but not limited to, fan events, private screenings, movie marathon/double features, Metropolitan Opera, broadcasts of sporting events and other showtimes and events (including select showtimes of certain foreign language movies) are excluded.

50% off Tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays pricing varies by location and are available for purchase in-theatre at the box office, kiosk, through the AMC mobile app, and online at amctheatres.com and select ticketing partner sites. Group purchases and group discounts do not apply.

AMC Stubs Cast members are excluded from the 50% off Small Combo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays offer.

l. Other Benefits. AMC Stubs Cast members are excluded from Premiere Service benefits (including Priority Lanes at box and concessions) bonus bucks/points campaigns, and member exclusives including but not limited to sweepstakes, contests, screenings or similar giveaways or promotional items.

m. AMC Stubs Account Number; Expiration. To be eligible for Membership benefits and to earn AMC Stubs points your account number must be (i) presented when purchasing tickets at the box office, (ii) entered when prompted at our in-theatre kiosks, (iii) entered into the appropriate area of amctheatres.com/amcstubs or the ticketing partner transaction page for purchases, or (iv) presented at the concession stand when purchasing concession products. Associate Members must present a matching valid ID to partake of benefits.  It is the Associate Member’s responsibility to present the account number in condition to be entered at the time of the transaction.

To apply benefits, the Membership account must be active at the time of purchase and assigned to the transaction.  Associate Members will NOT be credited retroactively for benefit eligible purchases made without an active Membership account presented at the time of purchase .

AMC Theatres is not responsible for the use or redemption of rewards from an account that has been lost, stolen, or otherwise used without Associate Member’s permission.

All rewards are the property of AMC Theatres.

5. MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS

If upon the entry of AMC Stubs account number, the computer is inaccessible, receipts or original ticket stubs may be presented for credit by contacting AMC Stubs Customer Service. Adjustments will not be made because an Associate Member failed to present their account number. Receipts or ticket stubs are required for manual adjustments. No more than two manual adjustments will be allowed per account in a single calendar month. Manual adjustments will not be made for purchases made beyond 30 calendar days from date of original purchase. AMC reserves the right to refuse manual adjustments in the event of suspected abuse of the Program or fraud. Adjustments to Associate Member accounts must be completed by AMC Customer Service, and a copy of the receipt must be provided. Associates may never adjust an AMC Stubs Cast account. 

To earn rewards or apply benefits, the Membership account must be active at the time of purchase. Associate Members will NOT be credited retroactively for purchases made without an active Membership at the time of purchase. Home Delivery orders and Grocery Popcorn are not eligible for manual adjustments.

6. MEMBERSHIP FEE.

The AMC Stubs Cast is a benefit of employment at AMC, so there is no Membership Fee for the Program.

7. TERM; GRACE PERIOD, RENEWALS.

The Membership term is the duration of time an associate is actively employed by AMC Theatres.

Upon separation, AMC Stubs Cast memberships will be converted to AMC Stubs Insider on the last day of employment unless they have qualified for Premiere GO! during the current calendar year. If termination is related to gross misconduct, fraud or misuse of the program, the terminated associate’s membership will be canceled and closed as part of the termination process. These accounts will not move to Insider or Premiere GO! tier. AMC Stubs Cast Members who have their membership cancelled for above reasons and are AMC Entertainment Visa Cardholders will have their Credit Card cancelled. Upon separation, the terminated associate may choose to purchase an upgrade to their AMC Stubs Insider or Premiere GO! account to AMC Stubs Premiere or AMC Stubs A-List provided their account was not closed due to the aforementioned misconduct, fraud or misuse of the Program.

8. NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE.

As we outlined above, we provide rewards benefits and special offers to Associate Members who participate in AMC Stubs Cast. Categories of personal information that we collect when you participate in AMC Stubs Cast include your contact information (e.g., name, email address, phone number), birth date, location, and you will create a password to login to your account. Through your participation in AMC Stubs Cast, we may also collect commercial information including products you purchase.

How to Opt In and Right to Withdraw

You can sign up to participate in AMC Stubs Cast online at the time of your hire. By signing up, you affirmatively opt in to receiving the financial incentives and joining AMC Stubs Cast. You can withdraw from AMC Stubs Cast at any time by contacting us at www.amctheatres.com/contact. If you opt out of receiving a financial incentive, we will not reduce the value of any financial incentive you previously received from us.

Please note that if you requested deletion of your account and/or personal information, that we will no longer be able to provide you with the same benefits, rewards, and promotions. We must maintain the personal information that you provide for us to provide the AMC Stubs Cast benefits to you.

How the Financial Incentive is Reasonably Related to the Value of Your Personal Information

AMC Stubs Cast and all benefits, financial incentives, and offers are reasonably related to the value provided by your personal information. We take into consideration, without limitation, the anticipated revenue generated from such information, the anticipated expenses which we might incur in the collection, storage, and use of such information, and the anticipated expenses which we might incur related to the offer, provision, and imposition of AMC Stubs Cast. Based on this analysis, the value of your personal information that allows us to make these offers and financial incentives is the value of the offer itself or as described in further detail below.

  • AMC Stubs Cast members accrue one hundred (100) points per dollar spent. Each time a member accrues 5,000 points, the member receives a redeemable five-dollar ($5.00) reward.
  • The value of upgrades on food and beverage items and birthday rewards vary by geographic location, and may be determined based on the listed price of the item at the location where the member redeems the reward.
  • The value of a waived convenience fee varies by geographic location and point of sale, and may be determined based on the stated convenience fee as set forth at the point of sale.

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT.

These AMC Stubs Cast Terms, including all documents referenced herein, represent the entire understanding between us and any user of AMC Stubs Cast with respect to the Program and supersedes any other agreements, statements or representations. Headings used in these AMC Stubs Cast Terms are for reference only and shall not affect the meaning of any terms. Any user of any portion of AMC Stubs Cast is deemed to have accepted these AMC Stubs Cast Terms.

10. CHANGES TO PROGRAM TERMS.

We may change these AMC Stubs Cast Terms at any time without notice or liability by posting revised AMC Stubs Cast Terms on the Program website located at amctheatres.com/amcstubs/terms-and-conditions/Associate. Any change shall take effect immediately upon posting, unless otherwise provided. You may view the current version of these AMC Stubs Cast Terms at any time online at amctheatres.com/amcstubs/terms-and-conditions/Associate. You may also obtain a copy at any AMC Theatre location.
