Ingredients vary by product. We encourage anyone with specific dietary requirements to evaluate the ingredient lists for each of the products to determine what is right for them.

Refunds can be requested through the retailer where you purchased your AMC Theatres Grocery Popcorn product.

Our products are best enjoyed prior to the expiration date. Product quality can break down past the expiration date.

If stored properly, our ready-to-eat popcorn can be enjoyed up to 1 week after opening. Exposure to air is what makes popcorn taste stale and chewy. Reducing exposure to air and sealing tightly can help prolong the quality of the popcorn after opening.

Oh yes! AMC Theatres Grocery Popcorn is also now available for purchase on Walmart.com and Amazon.com as well as at Publix and select Kroger, Kroger-affiliated and Meijer locations, Price Chopper, and Hy-Vee, in addition to other regional grocery stores. We are continuing to find opportunities to expand our line of retail popcorn to additional retailers and recommend visiting the store locator on our grocery popcorn web page for additional updates throughout the year.

All varieties of our popcorn are gluten-free.

Our microwave product is kosher certified. Our ready-to-eat product has not yet been certified.

AMC Theatres Ready-To-Eat Popcorn (already popped) is currently available at select retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Kroger-affiliated locations, Hy-Vee, and other regional grocery stores. AMC Theatres Microwave Popcorn (needs to be popped) is currently available at select retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Kroger-affiliated locations, Publix, Meijer, and other regional grocery stores, as well as on Amazon.com. In addition to purchasing in-store, several of the participating retailers have the products available for online purchase.

Our currently available flavors of retail popcorn include Classic Butter (ready-to-eat, microwave) for the traditional taste of everyone’s favorite go-to movie snack, Extra Butter (ready-to-eat, microwave) which even comes with buttery pouring packets to enhance your microwave popcorn experience, and our latest creation Kettle Butter (microwave) that invokes a delicious mix of salty sweetness in every bite and also includes our signature buttery pouring packets.

AMC Grocery Popcorn is a retail product line of AMC Theatres Perfectly Popcorn. Our recipes for the ready-to-eat (popped) and microwave popcorn products were all inspired by AMC’s famous movie theatre popcorn, which we’ve been selling for over 100 years. We know that movie watching behavior continues to evolve—so we wanted to give our guests an authentic movie theatre popcorn experience they can enjoy in the comfort of their home or wherever they go.

We are currently not offering AMC Stubs points for purchase.

AMC Grocery Popcorn was designed to replicate the flavor profile of our in-theatre popcorn recipe, but in a packaged, shelf stable format.

Pricing varies by participating retailer for a bag of ready-to-eat (popped) popcorn, a 6-count box of AMC Theatres microwave popcorn, and for a 36-count box of AMC Theatres Microwave Popcorn at select retailers and online.
