Even in the multiverse, there’s only one way to experience SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME – and that’s in IMAX. Watts made the movie with the intention for fans to experience the high-flying action with 26% more picture when seen in IMAX. There are two scenes especially that showcase the unprecedented crispness and clarity that only IMAX provides.

The Mirror Dimension

We first witnessed the Mirror Dimension in Doctor Strange, it is a parallel dimension that allows the user to practice their magical abilities and fight their enemies without the publics knowledge. In the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, we see Doctor Strange and Spider-Man on a train inside the Mirror Dimension with city skylines and canyon landscapes enveloping them. When you experience the Mirror Dimension in IMAX, it immerses you completely - filling the entire screen to make you feel like you are one of the Avengers fighting along Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.

Triple Threat

Since SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, we have witnessed Peter struggling to live the life of a normal teenager and that of an Avenger. The stakes have been raised in SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, as Ned and MJ have joined the fight with Peter after a magical spell goes wrong. Ned and MJ eagerly help Peter as “the guy in the chair”, but are not exactly ready when they are thrusted into the action during an incredible fight on top the Statue of Liberty. The climactic fight features brilliant image clarity to capture all the action and showcase the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, The Lizard and Sandman like we have never seen them before.
